Caribbean Medical Mission
The Caribbean Medical Mission is a nonprofit organization co-founded in 1996 by Dr. Winston Scott and a team of physicians and nurses. The medical providers regularly travel to the Caribbean and Ghana to provide humanitarian medical services to underserved patients there.
The organization has grown tremendously since it was founded in 1996, and now includes a variety of physicians, nurses, clergy, small-business people, and others who volunteer their time and expertise to provide much-needed care to the communities we serve. Dr. Winston Scott is the current president of the Caribbean Medical Mission.
Dorson Community Foundation
Highly-motivated high school students from Essex County, NJ have dreams of college and career success. Dorson Community Foundation invests in their futures.
Founded in 1992 by Dr. Winston Scott's wife Sonia, Dorson Community Foundation is a 501c3 dedicated to enriching and developing the next generation of leaders and agents of change from underserved communities. The organization's hallmark program -- the Dorson Scholars Program -- is a tuition-free, four-year, college and career readiness program supporting highly motivated, inner-city, high school students.
Over their four years with the Dorson Scholars Program, students will develop a sense of personal, college and career awareness while possessing the tools and self-confidence to succeed in college and beyond.
The Executive Director of Dorson Community Foundation is Natasha Scott, the youngest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Scott.
